Tiffany has been serving at Gabriel Network since 2011. After graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Japanese, she worked for a Marketing Research Company in Philadelphia, PA and then spent the next 15 years as the High School Youth Minister at St. Pius X Church in Bowie, MD. During her time as a Youth Minister, she also owned a small organizing business called ‘Create Your Space’ and raised four children. She and her husband Brendan, along with their four children, live in Bowie and attend Sacred Heart Church.
Dan Miller is our Church-Based Ministry Director. He leads our Church Ministry Team and helps our partnering church teams excel in their service to mothers and children. Dan grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and lives in Northeast Baltimore with his wife Michelle. Dan and Michelle have six children ranging from 19 to 4 years old. They also have been a foster home for over 5 years. Dan has been part of senior leadership for the last 15 years in the corporate world. Additionally, he assists churches as a consultant, preaches at churches, leads Bible studies, and teaches seminars. One of Dan’s greatest passions is coaching soccer which he has done for the last 20 years. He currently coaches a high school soccer team for Fellowship of Christian Athletes where all three of his boys participate. “Coach Dan” is passionate about excellence, development, and efficiency. He hopes to use his gifts and experience to serve God in Gabriel Network. His goal and primary focus are to expand, enrich, encourage, and empower our church teams so they can help mothers better understand their need for a better relationship with Jesus Christ.
BOWIE HOME DIRECTOR
Sophia is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Psychology and Counseling. She graduated with dual Master’s degrees in Christian Care, and Divinity in December 2018 from Capital Seminary and Graduate School. Sophia has served the community as a volunteer counselor with the Bowie Crofton Pregnancy Clinic, a post-abortion stress Bible study leader, and a mentor at the Woodland Job Corps Center, in Laurel, MD, where she strove to encourage young women to avoid the trap of mediocrity and pursue excellence. In 2014, she started a discipleship ministry designed to support women married for one year or less find strength and hope through community care.
ELLICOTT CITY HOUSE DIRECTOR

Michelle began serving at Gabriel Network in 2012 as a Home Director Sub. She later transitioned into the position as the Ellicott City Home Director in 2013. Through her experience as a Home Director sub she developed a genuine sense of compassion and love for the ministry. Prior to joining the Gabriel Network Team Michelle served as a Marketing Executive and Fund Raiser for The S.W.B. Lupus Awareness Charity until 2006. Michelle and her daughter participate in community outreach programs to feed the homeless. In addition to serving as Home Director she works as an Independent Property Consultant. Michelle is currently pursuing a degree in Human Services and Addictions Counseling in hopes to one day own and operate a community outreach center for cultural diversity and development.
Aletheia is a graduate of Capital Bible Seminary with an M.A. in Christian Counseling and Discipleship and a concentration in Youth and Family Counseling. She co-founded a counseling ministry and volunteers as a counselor at the Bowie/Crofton Pregnancy Clinic. Aletheia’s professional experience includes counseling/caregiving, office, and business management, project management, marketing, teaching, and entrepreneurship. Aletheia serves in the music and children’s ministries at Grace Bible Church where she and her family attend. She lives in Bowie, Maryland with her husband Nathaniel, their sons Brighton and Rhett and their fantastic dog Zero. She enjoys reading, music, cooking, the outdoors and quality time with family and friends.
Mary retired from the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services in 2011 after 30 years of service as a juvenile probation officer. Mary has been an Angel Friend since 2012 and the Gabriel Network Church Coordinator at Sacred Heart Church, Bowie, MD, since the fall of 2014. Mary lives in Bowie with her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Audrey. She enjoys reading, the beach, exercise and Zumba, and of course, serving and sharing God’s love with those less fortunate.
CHURCH OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Laura learned about Gabriel Network at a young age, when her family hosted several young women in her home and she gave up her room to make space for their guests. She is compassionate for the unborn and loves helping others. She is enthusiastic in sharing this passion with churches all over Maryland and DC. Laura graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with a degree in Interior Design. In addition to her role on the Church Team, she now enjoys using her background in design through planning Gabriel Network events and various other work projects. Laura lives in Bowie with her husband Jack and son Lucas. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying active through running outdoors, at the gym, and carrying her baby around all day.
HELPLINE TEAM CAPTAIN
Sarah studied Social Work and Communications at the Catholic University of America. Completing BSW and MSW degrees at the National Catholic School of Social Service continues to ground Sarah in theory and practice. Sarah’s experience in Pregnancy Center, Maternity Home, Adoption Agency, Student Ministry, and K-12 Student Support settings has prepared her to give and to grow at Gabriel Network, anchored by faith. Sarah and her husband Greg are grateful to be a part of the Sacred Heart Church community in Bowie, MD. Sarah enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, pursuing her passion for holistic health, all things snail mail, and going to concerts.
GAITHERSBURG HOME DIRECTOR
Valinda comes to the Gabriel Network with 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She began her career as a Teacher’s Aide. Because she showed the aptitude for leadership, Valinda advanced to Lead Teacher. Then, finally into management, as Center Director, once she matriculated through college with her degree. Her last Director position was at a childcare center in Upper Marlboro, MD which served toddler through school aged children. She has been faithfully ministering to young women experiencing personal crisis, in her home area of DC, for over 30 years. Happily fulfilling the “Great Commission” by providing them with food, shelter, clothing, and godly counsel. Valinda is also a Wellness Advocate, who encourages and educates individuals to live healthier lifestyles to obtain and sustain a high quality of life.
